awful cheap product.first off half of them were unusable because the molding was so cheap.each strip lets out about 5 small slow streams of bubbles along its length. thats it.very pathetic performance. unsuitable for intended use due to being all of the cheapness.avoid. i had to purchase replacementsthis is just landfill
Great. When they work. However the suction cups don’t stay on the aquarium glass. They slip off every two days or so.
I read the directions well, socked them in water for a couple of hours, poked holes in them and purchased a high powered pump with good quality hosing. I still feel like they do not work as well as they should. I have a few sections that aren't releasing many bubbles, and I have gone back and added more holes and made sure that the last one in the link was releasing bubbles. I made sure that my connections were tight and that there wasn't a kink in the hose. I'm going to try the Penn-Plax bendable bubble wall and see how that works. I will probably leave these in my aquarium, but I am not over-joyed at how well they work.
They are good but do tend to come apart inside the tank. Had to push them back in together a few times. Otherwise great at making bubbles.
First of all, this many for this price is a great deal IMHO. Also, these airstones are WAY better quality than ones I've purchased before. I actually had to change my order from my air pump to valves to air accessories because they were SO efficient that air stopped flowing to other items! Also, the pore size isn't uniform, which I like, as it creates some variance in bubble size. Super pretty! Really thrilled with these.
I saw some reviews that said some of the sections worked super well and some didnt.. the same was going on with these 2, one worked well and the other didn't but instead of assuming it was faulty, I just rotated it a little and the bubbles started flowing just as good as the one that was working fantastic.. they all work great, I guess you just have to get it in a good position, or at least that is what worked for me..
